Job Overview: The cook provides assistance to customers while performing key tasks that keep the store running smoothly. A successful cook is friendly to his/her fellow employees and customers, stays busy maintaining and improving the store, and provides assistance to customers and staff. The cook is key to the company because he/she is face to face with customers and plays a key role in the customer's experience. The cook performs duties that are critical to daily operations of the store and overall efficiency.

  • Responsible for assisting customers during their time in our store in a way that makes them feel comfortable and makes them want to return.
  • Responsible for preparing food in a tasty, safe, and sanitary way that will make our customers want to return to our store.
  • Responsible for keeping the kitchen, coolers, and freezers safe, organized, and clean.
  • Responsibilities include all of the responsibilities of the Convenience Store Cashier, along with kitchen responsibilities .
  • Responsible for ordering all of the supplies that are used in the kitchen.
  • Responsible for stocking all of the supplies that are used in the kitchen.
  • Responsible for taking the trash out to the dumpsters.
  • Responsible for being conscientious of profitability in all aspects of their job.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and Internet usage.

  • Outgoing , helpful, responsible, productive personality
  • Good working knowledge and ability to operate a variety of office equipment and systems.
